Training for Mentors for Balinese Youth

Driven by common purpose, we want to feed more people, create more jobs, upgrade the workforce by starting where we are here in Bali where jobs are currently limited due to the dependence of the Balinese people on the tourism sector.

Founded in 2013, Stella’s Child exists to support Indonesian youths from deeply disadvantaged backgrounds as they prepare to leave children’s homes and orphanages and enter the world of work. Stella’s Child equip these youths, aged 12-19, with the skills they need to succeed in life and break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their families.

Training for Mentors Program will begin in July 2020 for ambitious, highly motivated, progress focused and willing Balinese young people to grow and learn professional skills.

DIY Academy itself will contribute by developing a training curriculum for the Website Development, WordPress and Digital Marketing program with the hope that young people in Bali will expand their skills in the digital field and will be more ready to face challenges in the era of Industrialization 4.0.
