Job Opening for Personal Assistant position, placed in Bali

We are looking for an Extraordinary Assistant. This is not an ordinary ad. But you are not an ordinary person..

This role is part-gatekeeper, master organizer, project manager and someone to remind me to bring my raincoat even when it’s raining. I am that absent minded.

From the ridiculous to the sublime.

  • If your flight is canceled, are you the one person who gets on the only other flight out?
  • When you were kid, did you have the tidiest bedroom in the family?
  • Is your email inbox completely empty? Always.
  • Are all your bills on auto-pay?
  • Do you know, to the penny, how much money you’ve spent today?
  • If you call the doctor and no appointments are available, do you get to see the doctor, no matter what?

WHO I AM: I am the CEO & Founder of a real estate management company and a software production company. I am a bit of a perfectionist, with a high expectation of myself and those who work with me. I’m fair, honest, prefer to get right to the point, and often underestimate the time and effort it will take to make my vision a reality. Henry Ford once said; Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays yourng. I agree

WHO WE ARE: Spirited Gifts was started 7 years ago while I was still working my day job as a wine buyer. After about a year working both jobs, I took the plunge and quit my day job to pursue e-commerce full time. Another year in I convinced my sister to join me and started the engraving and personalization part of the business, which she now runs. Since the beginning, we have doubled revenue annually and are completely self-funded. We are now moving to a new location and expanding our business in many ways.

WHO YOU NEED TO BE: Detail driven, organized, versatile, self-sufficient with clear communication skills and lots of common sense. You are a follow-up master and no is not an answer you will accept. This role is part-gatekeeper, master organizer, project manager, and multitasker extraordinaire. In a nutshell, you are someone who thrives working in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment, you have great attention to detail and can assist me in managing a variety of projects and tasks and support a true entrepreneur.

THE LONG TERM: I’m cool if you’re not my assistant forever, but I want someone who will do this job happily and with great focus for at least 1 year. Beyond that, if you discover an aspect of the company you are thrilled about I’d love to promote you into one of our teams and task you with hiring and training your replacement.
